You might see many other pan sets for fewer dollars than this one pan however, it is exactly what it says: 12" everyday pan. You name it and you have a pan for you regardless of what you are cooking. Now I readily admit to keeping the old man of the house from putting his mitts on my pan but we have our reasons. Mine happens to be it is my pan and if he wants to use one he has to use his everyday pan. Yes, he enjoys his as well. He, however, does not mind my using it because I at least know how to cook a few things. Sincerely, this is a fine pan and the nonstick part is accurate. Stuff just does not stick. Even the old man can cook and not have it stick on his or mine. If something should happen to this one you can count on my buying another shortly after the disaster.

I often wonder what I did before I bought this pan, since I use it almost every day. It is so easy to clean, its big enough to cook almost anything and I love that it goes from the stove to the oven.

I know its completely illogical, but having such a wonderful, pretty pan has made me feel more confident about cooking and I am more inclined to experiment with new recipes. Now, I just need a new set of knives....

I have had two of these and they are great. Easy to cook with a clean up is a breeze. This is a great everyday pan, buy one. The one down side is that using it everyday and despite taking care of it, I have sent two of these back to calphalon for warranty replacement.

I ordered this pan on two separate occasions from Amazon. Product was advertised as new. Both were received with clear degeneration/defect in the non-stick coating. I wasnt willing to risk a third attempt. If youre purchasing, Id recommend another seller than Amazon.

This pan is great because it is large but it is extremely light and absolutely nonstick. It has two small handles making the transporting very comfortable. The glass lid lets you see how cooking and browning is going without lifting it. I recommended it to one of my friends that has two residences in different states and she was so happy with it that she bought one for each kitchen.

If you are at all sensitive to bright fluorescent ligt, do not purchase this lamp. On the dimmest setting possible, it is very bright. For me, it is unusable. If you want to light 5,000 sq. ft., this is the lamp to get. ott, it looks good assembled.

Lamp appears to be nearly perfect for my application, but my Amazon purchase arrived with a minor but fatal manufacturing flaw: Although the assembly directions for the pole sections stress caution against cross-threading, one of the sockets itself was already cross-threaded so that the assembled pole was not straight. Return to Amazon was simple and quick, but the replacement lamp suffered from the same flaw. The second return was equally expeditious, but Amazon was unwilling to send a third. The base is very heavy, and postage must be considerable.
At this writing, Amazon only makes this item available from a 3rd party at more than twice the cost after shipping.

Effective, inexpensive floor lamp

I ordered this product from Amazon a few weeks ago to replace the old halogen torchiere lamp I had in the living room for more than a decade. Even though I selected free shipping, the package arrived promptly and in perfect condition. It took about 15 minutes to unwrap and assemble by myself. The lamp parts were very carefully packed at the factory so everything inside, including the glass bowl, was in perfect shape. The light itself gives out a white glow rather than the hallogens yellow glow I was used to, but it lightens up the room just about the same while costing less to run. One thing, though, the lamp doesnt "warm up" immediately, you have to wait 2 or 3 seconds to get the full power, but that is not a problem for me, so Im pretty much happy with my purchase. If youre just looking for a basic lamp to light up a room, this is it.

While this is a wonderful lamp, I do have to be honest about the foolishness of it coming with a fluorescent bulb. After I put it together, I found out that the bulb packed with the lamp was cracked from being crammed into the styrofoam packing with the rest of the lamp. It really was not a good idea, since the bulb cracked when I carefully tried to open the packaging around the bulb. I didnt even get that far in the process before I heard that awful cracking sound.

This is a very crucial point to make because of the mercury powder inside the bulb. I had to carefully put the bulb--still in its packaging--in a plastic bag and put it in my storage area because I did not want my kid inhaling this very toxic material. (Ill have to take it to the solid waste management service in my town to safely dispose of this hazardous waste tomorrow morning.)

Whatever you do, err on the side of caution and go to a local hardware store to get the replacement bulb rather than order it online. Its much safer that way, especially with the whole interstate shipping process. Were it not for this one important issue, Id give this lamp a five-star rating. It is really a nice bit of hardware, especially when its put together according to the instructions. Its good to have actual written assembly instructions instead of some cheap drawings with arrows to tell you what to do. Everything works just the way its supposed to (that is, once I went to a local home improvement store and bought a couple of bulbs, just in case).

Apart from the caveats I mentioned, this is a wonderful product and would recommend it to my friends...with the proper cautions, of course.

this is a simple product that has no bells or whistles, but it does what I wanted it to do and that makes me 5-start happy.

So far so good.....wanted a smaller one for my macbook.....didnt need a huge outlet protector for the spot, and this filled the bill. Arrived quickly, good price, it works!

I needed this for my bedside table, for my alarm clocks, cell phone charger, lamp, etc. It is perfect for little things like that. The cord is very short but for what I need to use it for that is okay. I wouldnt use it for anything other than something small like that.

The main downside to it is that it doesnt have a flatter plug. Several surge protectors have that now so it fits closer to the wall, and since this will be going in behind my bed I wouldve preferred that. That is why it lost a star. Otherwise, it suited my needs perfectly.

I didnt find anything wrong with this surge protector so far. It looks neat and I havent had any bad experiences so far. The thing about these kind of products is, you never know until something bad happens. But now, everything seems to be alright.

Oh, by the way, never expect to use it like an extension cord. The wire is way too short for that. But again, its worth the money.

The surge protector doesnt have anything special about it. It has a short cord, no room is left for bigger plugs (except maybe the last one). I first thought that it arrived dead because no power went through but as I wanted to throw it out, I noticed that there was a switch hidden next to the power cord to turn it on. It is the first surge protector that I have seen that doesnt have the switch at the top.
At least it was cheap and does what is supposed to do and if you dont want a light on your surge protectors than this is probably a good choice for you.
