The Madonna Blond Ambition Japan Tour 90 that I received was wrapped in shrink wrap w/Madonna & Warner Bros stickers on it but when I played it, it was an old black and white movie that I had never heard of. Im very disappointed....and also out the $30.00.

I admit I am not much of a Madonna fan, some things here and there. Through the years to be honest, I didnt pay much attention to her even with all the controversy.

However, I have come across different scenes of her Blond Ambition tour throughout the internet. I was so impressed that I decided I had to buy the VHS. This is absolutely wonderful! I give her so much credit for being talented in this tour. Putting together a show like that, I am very impressed. I love theatre and I love how theatrical this show is. I think this is worth every penny!

My only complaint is the audience. I wish they could have seemed more excited. But nevertheless, this is spectacular!

THIS CONCERT IS PART OF THE BLOND AMBITION TOUR. IT ,WAS FANTASTIC.I CANNOT EXPLAIN WHY,BUT I LIKE THIS CONCERT BETTER THAN THE US VERSION.BOTH CONCERTS WERE EXCELLENT.THIS VIDEO IS VERY RARE,AND IS LONG OVERDUE FOR DVD RELEASE. IF YOU LIKE MADONNA YOU WILL LOVE THIS FLICK.I OWN THIS CONCERT 11/04/05. !!!WHY IS IT THAT THERE IS NO DVD FOR THIS GREAT CONCERT?!!! WAIT HOLD THAT THOUGHT .THE DVD IS AVAILABLE ON SOME WEBSITES.....BUT NOT IN THE U.S 11/06/05.

Firstly i agree with all the reviews here, The Japan version of the
Blond Ambition Tour is the only one to have, The regular "rest of the world version" was ok, but sonically the Yokahama concert was so much better ,those Japanese audio engineers knew their stuff!
I was lucky enough to get this on Laser Disc (remember those??), from an associate who picked it up in Japan whilst on business, he loaned it to me , later i convinced him to sell it to me which he agreed to. I know that a lot of audio guys like me swear that the sound on Laser Disc was far better than DVD, but in this instance we are talking about the VHS version above, and providing your VCR is up to the job the soundtrack on this tape should be almost as good, and if you have a DVD Recorder you might be able to transfer it ! ( people dont do things like that do they?)
Anyhow one day it may be released on DVD, but there is a danger that by that time Madonna may be well and truly "off the boil"
and the "now generation" will say "who was that" The Laser Disc version crops up from time to time on Ebay, but i have found anyone advertising this on DVD is probably selling a DVD-r copy!
not the real thing! Get it whilst you can, you will never let it go!

Though this is not the same Blonde Ambition concert that was featured on HBO in 1990, this one is absolutely amazing! It still captures the show in its entirety and brings the material girls theatrics to new hights!

My only complaint is that "Now Im Following You" is lip-synched, and its obvious that she just wanted to give herself a dance break in the show. Not too classy, but I still think that this show is AMAZING!!!

I thought it was a little unusual that the crowd didnt seem enthusiastic, but then I remembered that this concert was filmed in Japan. When Madonna talks to the audience, they just kind of sit there quietly and dont cheer or anything. It took me ahile to remember that these people probably didnt know English. Any other audience in the world would have been screaming their heads off if Madonna stopped the show to talk!
